3rd Night of Protests in Kenosha Leads to Shooting and 2 Deaths

What Happened:
A shooting during the third night of protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin resulted in two deaths and a third person being seriously injured.
Officers responded to a report of multiple gunshot victims just before midnight on Tuesday.
An investigation is ongoing, said Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth, they are investigating whether the shooting resulted from a conflict between protesters and a group of men protecting businesses.
The protests continue days after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, an unarmed black man who was shot seven times in the back by a police officer on Sunday when he tried to enter his SUV. Blake’s 3 children were in the car when he was shot.
Blake is still in the hospital and is currently paralyzed from the waist down.
The US Justice Dept. and FBI agents are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The Sheriff’s Dept. of Kenosha County has issued a curfew of 8PM for public safety and the Wisconsin Governor has declared a state of emergency and increased the National Guard presence.
