What Happened:

• According to police, there was a shooting on Bourbon Street in New Orleans very early Saturday morning. 5 people were injured in the shooting and four were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.

• So far, no arrests have been made. The shooting was reported to police just after 1 AM CT. Detectives are investigating the incident, there is no clear motivation behind the attack thus far.

• This is the latest in a string of mass shootings that has plagued the US for the last several weeks.
