Biden Announces Framework for New Domestic Policy Package

What Happened:

On Thursday, President Biden announced that an "historic economic framework" had been reached for a new domestic policy package. The bill will now head to the House for further review.
The $1.75 trillion package will focus on expanded social services and climate change programs including free prekindergarten, expanded health care programs, $555 billion to take on climate change and much more.
Together with Biden's $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, if approved by Congress, these two bills would implement some of the largest domestic policy changes in US history.
Before leaving for two global summits, Biden appealed to lawmakers privately saying "I need your votes."
