Biden Takes a Slight Lead in Georgia

What’s Happening:

As the final votes are tallied in Georgia, Biden took a slight lead over Trump late Thursday night and is now ahead by just under 1000 votes.
99% of the votes have been tallied in Georgia.
Trump’s lawsuit against Georgia was dismissed Thursday by a judge. The suit focused on 53 absentee ballots in Chatham County which Trump claimed were invalid. The case was dismissed by the judge when elections officials testified that all of those ballots had been received on time. Trump’s campaign said we should expect several more lawsuits.
The other battleground states of Nevada, Arizona and Pennsylvania are still up for grabs as the final votes are tallied. Biden leads in NV and AZ and Trump leads in PA, although the leads in AZ and PA are tightening.
