Biden To Announce Vaccine Eligibility By April 19th For All Adults

According to several sources, President Biden will announce Tuesday that he is moving up the vaccine eligibility date for all adults by about two weeks. The original date was May 1, but with states expanding eligibility, the new deadline will now be April 19.
Eligibility means that as of April 19, all Americans over the age of 16 will be able to schedule their vaccination.
President Biden is also expected to announce that 150 million Americans have received doses of Covid-19 vaccines, putting him well on track for his goal of 200 million doses in his first 100 days in office.
The earlier eligibility date will come as welcome news to many Americans and healthcare professionals as several states are seeing yet another surge of cases, this time with the highly contagious B.1.1.7 Covid-19 variant.
