Updated: Aug 28, 2020

What Happened:
Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Karen Pence, Kayleigh McEnany, Lara Trump and Kellyanne Conway all spoke on Day 3 of the convention.
Mike Pence officially accepted the nomination as Republican Vice-Presidential candidate.
The theme of the night centered around Trump's female staff and his interactions with them.
What was Said:
Kayleigh McEnany recounted Trump's support when she had to undergo a double mastectomy saying, "I was blown away...Here was the leader of the free world caring about me."
Kellyanne Conway, who recently resigned from her position as a presidential counselor, said that Trump was a champion of women: "He confides in and consults us, respects our opinions, and insists that we are on equal footing with the men."
Mike Pence criticized Joe Biden saying "Last week, Joe Biden didn't say one word about the violence and chaos engulfing cities across this country. The violence must stop -- whether in Minneapolis, Portland, or Kenosha. Too many heroes have died defending our freedoms to see Americans strike each other down."
Pence also added, "Joe Biden would double down on the very policies that are leading to unsafe streets and violence in America's cities."
Lara Trump expressed concern for those in the path of Hurricane Laura saying "May God bless the Gulf states in the path of the hurricane."
