Dominion Voting Systems Sues Fox News For $1.6 Billion

What Happened:
On Friday, Dominion Voting Systems filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News for $1.6 Billion. In the lawsuit, Dominion says that Fox falsely claimed that the Dominion Voting Systems contributed to election fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election. Dominion says they made multiple attempts to try and set the record straight but that Fox News ignored them.
Says Dominion, Fox News "sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes, severely injuring Dominion in the process."
In a statement, Fox News said that they "will vigorously defend against this baseless lawsuit in court."
This is just the latest defamation lawsuit from Dominion, they also sued Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and the CEO of MyPillow over false election claims.
