Dominion Voting Systems Sues Giuliani For Defamation

What Happened:

Dominion Voting Systems is suing former President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani for defamation.
The lawsuit says that Giuliani spread false claims about election fraud on his podcast and in tv appearances and is seeking $1.3 billion in damages.
The lawsuit also notes that although Giuliani publicly spread falsehoods about Dominion being run by Venezuelan communists who corrupted the election, he did not make any of those false claims in the lawsuits he filed on Trump’s behalf.
