Early Data Shows AstraZeneca's Covid-19 Vaccine to be 70% Effective

On Monday, pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced that early data for its coronavirus vaccine shows it to be 70% effective in large scale trials.
AstraZeneca is now the third major drug manufacturer to announce an effective Covid-19 vaccine. Pfizer and Moderna both recently announced coronavirus vaccines with high efficacy rates of 94.5% plus.
One of the key advantages of the AstraZeneca vaccine is that it doesn't need to be stored at extremely cold temperatures like the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
According to the White House, some vaccines could be available to Americans as soon as the second week of December.
