Fatal Shooting of Black Man Results in Violent Protests in PA - 30 Officers Injured

The fatal shooting of a black man, allegedly armed with a knife, on Monday in Philadelphia resulted in violent overnight protests and at least 30 officers injured. The victim of the shooting, Walter Wallace Jr., was 27 years old.
Hundreds participated in the protests on Monday night citing the shooting as another example of systemic racism and excessive use of force by the police.
The protests quickly turned violent as protesters threw objects, rioted, looted, vandalized areas and set at least 1 police car on fire.
According to the Philadelphia Police Dept., at least 91 people were arrested over the course of the night.
