Federal Judge Dismisses Trump’s PA Election Lawsuit
What Happened:
On Saturday, a Federal Judge dismissed Trump’s lawsuit which sought to invalidate millions of votes in Pennsylvania.
The judge‘s ruling paves the way for Pennsylvania to certify the election results and declare Joe Biden the winner of the state by more than 80,000 votes.
In his ruling, Judge Matthew Brann said, the Trump campaign presented “strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations...unsupported by evidence...In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state.”
Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and legal adviser Jenna Ellis said the ruling was positive as it will allow them to appeal the case to the Supreme Court more quickly.
