House Dems Ask Trump to Testify Under Oath For Impeachment Trial - Updated

What Happened:
On Thursday, House Democrats asked former President Trump to testify under oath for his Senate impeachment trial next week.
The Senate impeachment trial starts on February 9th. Trump is charged with incitement of an insurrection for his role in the Capitol Hill riot on Jan. 6.
Trump's team has not officially responded to the request thus far.
UPDATE: A Trump adviser has stated that the former president will not testify.
