House Passes $1 Trillion Infrastructure Bill

On Friday night, the House passed a $1 trillion bi-partisan infrastructure bill after several months of delay. The bill will now be sent to President Biden's desk to be signed and represents a major win for the administration.
The final vote was 228-206 with 13 House Republicans voting together with nearly all of the House Democrats.
The new bill will focus on several areas of infrastructure including roads, passenger and freight trains, and expanded broadband internet access amongst other things.
