Hurricane Delta Makes Landfall in Louisiana and Texas

What's Happening:
Hurricane Delta made landfall on Friday in Louisiana and Texas as a Category 2 hurricane with 100 mph winds.
Already more than 450,000 homes are without power.
The storm has weakened to a CAT 1 since it moved further inland.
Residents are warned of dangerous conditions, flash floods and life-threatening storm surges. Currently 5.5 million people are under flash flood watches.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Delta is expected to hit the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coasts by the end of the week.
Residents are warned to prepare as Delta should bring heavy rains, dangerous storm surges and powerful winds.
