ICE Protesters Marched Through Seattle Saturday Afternoon
On Saturday afternoon, about 50 people seeking to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) marched through Seattle. Police monitored the demonstration closely to ensure there wasn't a repeat of Wednesday's violent protest.
Unlike last Wednesday's ICE protest which became violent and destructive, resulting in property damage, vandalism and multiple arrests, Saturday's protest was peaceful and calm.
The protesters are asking President Biden to end ICE, which they claim unfairly targets minorities.
Seattle police say they are still actively working with the prosecutor's office to arrest anyone who was violent or damaged property on Wednesday.
