Iran's New President, Ebrahim Raisi, Says He Won't Meet Biden
On Monday, Iran's President-Elect, Ebrahim Raisi, said he would not meet with US President Joe Biden and is unwilling to negotiate over Tehran's ballistic missile program.
Raisi continued "The U.S. is obliged to lift all oppressive sanctions against Iran."
Raisi won the Presidential Election in a landslide victory on Saturday, however, his main competitor was disqualified from the election by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The election had a record low turnout of voters. Raisi won 17.8 million votes, easily eclipsing all other competitors.
