Microsoft Says Russia, China & Iran All Targeting US Election
Microsoft issued a report on Thursday warning that Russian, Chinese & Iranian hackers are all attempting to hack individuals and organizations involved in the 2020 US Election and have increased their cyberattack activity.
In a post, Microsoft said "The activity we are announcing today makes clear that foreign activity groups have stepped up their efforts targeting the 2020 election."

Microsoft said the same Russian hacking group involved in the 2016 attacks on the Democratic Presidential campaign have targeted more than 200 organizations that "are directly or indirectly affiliated with the upcoming U.S. election as well as political and policy-related organizations in Europe."
Chinese and Iranian hackers are also targeting individuals and groups associated with both parties.
