N Korea Warns US To "Refrain From Causing A Stink" If It Wants to Maintain Peace

What Happened:
On Tuesday, Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong, issued a statement warning the US to "refrain from causing a stink" if it wants to "sleep in peace" for the next four years. This is the first statement North Korea has made to the Biden administration.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Asia this week to meet with US allies Japan and South Korea and discuss regional issues, including North Korea.
The US and South Korea began their annual military exercises last week which will continue through Thursday. The countries have opted to hold downsized drills this year in an effort to ameliorate diplomatic relations with North Korea and resume nuclear talks with the reclusive country. The downsized drills involve command post exercises and computer simulations and no actual field training.
Despite the downsized drills, Kim Yo Jong criticized the military exercises saying "(War drills) and hostility can never go with dialogue and cooperation." She also said the North would consider abandoning the 2018 bilateral agreement to reduce military tensions.
