No Charges For Officer Involved In Capitol Riot Shooting

What Happened:
On Wednesday, federal prosecutors announced that they will not charge a Capitol Hill police officer who shot and killed a woman as she climbed through a broken door during the Capitol Hill riot on Jan 6.
The decision closes out a months long investigation by the Justice Department.
Prosecutors said that after reviewing video surveillance and evidence, there was insufficient evidence to support criminal prosecution.
The woman who was fatally shot, Ashli Babbitt, was part of the mob that tried to break into the House during the Capitol Hill riot.
