President Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

What Happened:
President Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Norwegian Parliament member Christian Tybring-Gjedde.
In an interview with Fox News, Tybring-Gjedde cited the president's role in negotiating a normalization deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the reason for his nomination.
“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” said Tybring-Gjedde.
