Suspect of Louisville Cop Shooting in Custody

What Happened:
A suspect accused of being involved in the shooting of two Louisville police officers during the Breonna Taylor protests Wednesday night is now in custody.
He has been identified as Larynzo Johnson, 26, and has been charged with wanton endangerment and assault of a police officer. He will be arraigned on Friday.
The Louisville Police said nearly 100 arrests were made overnight amid the protests after the Wednesday's grand jury decision to not charge any officers with the death of Breonna Taylor.
Wednesday's long-awaited grand jury decision came more than 6 months after Taylor was fatally shot in her home. Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron announced Wednesday that 1 of the 3 officers involved in the shooting will be indicted on criminal charges. The other two officers will not be indicted.
The decision has led to widespread protests and demonstrations nationwide against police brutality and systemic racism.
Taylor, an EMT, was shot and killed by police in her apartment six months ago following the execution of a no-knock search warrant.
