Texas Early Voting Surpasses Total Voter Turnout in 2016

What's Happening:

• With one more day of early voting to go and the actual election day coming up, more than 9 million people have already voted in the state of Texas, surpassing the total voter turnout in 2016 (8.96 million).

• The turnout accounts for 53% of registered voters in the state.

• According to the Texas Secretary of State, Mail-in ballots account for nearly 1 million of the votes received thus far.
