Trial Shows Pfizer Vaccine Effective With Young Teens

What Happened:
On Wednesday, Pfizer announced that its Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective with children as young as 12.
In the trial of 2,260 volunteers, the vaccine was 100% effective at preventing Covid-19 in children aged 12-15.
The findings set the stage for a potential vaccine rollout for young teens by the fall, before the start of the new school year.
