Trump Refuses to Take Part in Virtual Debate with Biden
On Thursday, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the next debate between President Trump and Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden would be held virtually, in consideration of the President's health and coronavirus diagnosis.
The Biden campaign agreed to the new format, however, President Trump has pulled out of the second debate saying he would be unwilling to participate in a virtual debate.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump complained that the moderator could "cut you off whenever they want" in a virtual debate.
Bill Stepien, Trump's campaign manager, blames the commission for the now-canceled debate and says the President will host a rally instead.
