US Jobs Report - 1.4 Million Jobs Added in August

What Happened:
The US economy added 1.4 million jobs in August and unemployment fell to 8.4%, down from 10.2% in July.
This is the fourth straight month of improvement after the spring lockdown.
The overall economy is still down 11.5 million jobs during the pandemic.
The unemployment rate varies across different races. White unemployment rate is at 7.3%. Black, Hispanic and Asian workers still remain above 10% unemployment with black people being the highest at 13%
